My role as a sales associate for Orangetheory Fitness was to manage member relations, sell memberships to new clients, and work closely with coworkers, coaches, the manager, and the owner. I communicated with customers by making 40+ calls daily and selling memberships/answering questions, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and reaching company sales goals. Other physical duties included opening/closing, checking in members and cleaning/organizing the fitness studio.

As an intern at Loyal, I worked on marketing projects, communicated with the team and outside parties, developed social media content, and analyzed products. I used Excel and Google apps daily to produce analyses and connect with my co-workers. I attended weekly meetings to discuss current projects, questions, feedback, and goals.
20 hours/week
I worked at Green Olive Media, a public relations firm in Atlanta, Georgia, as a PR intern for a year. I used Google Alerts, HARO and Muck Rack to manage clients' media clippings, write pitches and press releases, post round-ups on social media and create event listings on event boards near my clients. I attended weekly meetings with my team and interact with journalists and clients via call and email.
20 hours/week
As a current PR intern for Pineapple, I write pitches for a range of clients, post event listings to event boards in corresponding communities, draft end-of-month recap decks, clip client mentions, manage monthly client reports and meet with my team each week. While at Pineapple, I have developed a tremendous amount of industry knowledge and skills that will stay with me as I embark on my post-graduate journey.

Walk For Liza is a foundation created after a sorority sister of mine, Liza Burke, passed away from an undiagnosed brain tumor in April of 2023. As the director of social media and marketing, I manage the website, social media accounts, merchandising and PR efforts. Being able to provide my skills and talents for a foundation focused on life-saving research has been a rewarding and eye-opening experience.
